LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities in Las Vegas say entertainer Flavor Flav has been arrested on allegations of driving under the influence, speeding, possessing less than an ounce of marijuana and having an open container of alcohol in the 2005 black BMW he was driving.

Nevada Highway Patrol spokesman Loy Hixson said Thursday that the 56-year-old entertainer was pulled over as he entered Interstate 15 southwest of McCarran International Airport around 12:30 a.m. for going 73 mph (117 kph) in a 45 mph (72 kph) zone.

Hixson says Flavor Flav also had a suspended driver's license and registration. He faces several misdemeanor charges.

Flavor Flav's real name is William Jonathan Drayton Jr. His Las Vegas attorney said she would call back with a comment later after The Associated Press informed her of her client's arrest.

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. — An attorney for Aaron Hernandez says the former New England Patriots player is running out of money because he's had to pay so many lawyers.

Attorney John Fitzpatrick made the comments Thursday during a hearing in New Bedford, Massachusetts.

Hernandez was convicted last month of the 2013 murder of Odin Lloyd, who was dating the sister of Hernandez's fiancee. Lloyd's mother has sued Hernandez, and her lawyers are trying to track down his assets.

Fitzpatrick says Hernandez was paid for only one year of his now-terminated $40 million contract with the team. He says Hernandez has had to hire a "platoon of lawyers" for his criminal cases.

Hernandez pleaded not guilty Thursday to a witness intimidation charge that prosecutors say is related to a double murder he's also charged in.

Kylie was wearing a ring on that finger recently, causing engagement rumors to circulate online once more. According to Hollywood Life, Kylie posted a selfie on Instagram showing off her hand, and while some people were paying attention to her nails, others noticed that she was wearing a ring that sort of looked a little more “serious.”

“Kylie sported a yellow gold band around her ring finger in her latest selfie. Unlike the other ring she has on her hand, this ring is eerily similar to a wedding band. She captioned the photo, ‘Today’s feels.’ Kylie also posted a more up close and personal photo of her left hand. As bright as her pink nails are, we can’t help but be drawn to that studded band on her ring finger!”

While it's been extremely clear that Nicki Minaj has moved on from her ex and become romantically involved with Meek Mill, it's starting to look more and more like Safaree Samuels may have moved on too.

According to TMZ, Samuels may be seeing R&B singer K. Michelle romantically. Besides speaking and texting a lot, sources say that the two spent Valentine's Day together in NYC and that the songstress has received flower deliveries from the bachelor.

At this time it's unclear whether or not this is an exclusive relationship, a fling, or anything at all, but if love and happiness is involved for all parties, that's definitely a positive.

Now is not the time for the Golden State Warriors to ease up and assume they can just coast into the NBA Finals. There, they'll await the Eastern Conference representative and get ready to raise a championship banner into the rafters of Oracle Arena for the first time since 1975, when they still played in theOakland-Alameda County Coliseum Arena.

But they aren't there yet. Success in the next round is probable, but it's not guaranteed. After all, the Houston Rockets are in the habit of doing the improbable this postseason.

At one point, they were down 3-1 to the Los Angeles Clippers in the Western Conference semifinals. Shortly thereafter, they were on the brink of elimination, having won Game 5 but trailing by 19 points late in the third quarter of the ensuing contest.

Just about any and every free agent running back has been linked to theDallas Cowboys — regardless of there being any truth to the rumors.Chris Johnson, Ben Tate, Felix Jones and Knowshon Moreno are on that list, to name a few.

As of late, however, another name has come up: Ray Rice. The veteran running back has been out of football for more than a year and recently had his domestic violence charges dismissed. With that said, it would seem like a good time for the Cowboys to make a move and sign the former Rutgers running back. That’s hardly the case.

Aside from the fact that Rice carries more baggage and negative publicity than just about any player in the league, he’s also been away from the game for more than a year and is coming off a career-worst season in 2013. That year, Rice rushed for just 660 yards on 214 attempts, which averages out to 3.1 yards per carry, down from 4.4 yards per carry in 2012.__

Washington (AFP) - After following a DNA lead gleaned from pizza crust, US authorities have arrested a suspect in the grisly murder of three members of a wealthy Washington family and their maid.

Daron Dylon Wint, 34, was arrested Thursday night in the nation's capital, Washington Metropolitan Police said.

Three other men and two women who were with Wint as police pounced late Thursday night were also arrested, a US Marshals Service official said.

The case has shocked the city because of the violence employed in last week's murders -- one of the four bludgeoned victims was a 10-year-old boy -- and because the neighborhood where it happened is posh and hardly used to such bloodshed.

The manhunt for Wint began after the DNA was collected from pizza delivered to the slain family's home and matched to him. The chase stretched all the way up to New York where he was said to have relatives.

Rick Ross was responsible for blasting the sex tape of his baby mama out to the world ... so claims 50 Cent who is now taking aim at Ross in court.

50 has filed a lawsuit -- obtained by TMZ -- in which he's trying to deflect blame from himself for the video which now has millions of views. Lastonia Leviston has sued 50 claiming she was so distraught after 50 posted the video she contemplated suicide.

But now 50 says Ross is actually the one who created the problem because he or one of his lackeys was first to post it ... 50 just linked to it. 50 points to an interview Ross did with a radio station the day before the video was posted in which he said he was going to put the sex tape online.

50 says in his legal docs if he loses his lawsuit to Leviston, Ross should cover most of the judgment because he's really the guilty party.

Leviston claims in her lawsuit the guy in her sex tape gave the video to 50 -- who was more than eager to blast it out because it would embarrass his rival, Rick Ross.

“He got beat brutally and is suffering many facial and rectal injuries from the attack. Some gang members here at the prison held him hostage in a cell and threatened him with knives,” sources explained. “What they did to him is absolutely disgusting. There is no words to describe it. He feels dirty. No one should ever be violated of their personal s*xual space.”

As horrible as this may seem, prison rape is nothing new behind prison walls. The United States Department of Justice states that “In 2013-14, an estimated 4.0% of state and federal prison inmates and 3.2% of jail inmates reported experiencing one or more incidents of s*xual victimization by another inmate or facility staff.”

Things have gone a little rocky” between Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and singer Ciara since they started dating a month ago, a source told E! News, but they haven’t split up yet.

That said, the celebrity couple may be headed for a celebrity uncoupling.

E! is the second outlet this week to report trouble for Wilson and Ciara; gossip siteMediaTakeOut.com heard from a sourcedescribed as “Russell’s kin” that Wilson’s “No. 1 job is football — not chasing some singer around the country.”

The new report, from E!, suggests the budding relationship may be over before it really got started.

“They haven’t broken up yet,” an anonymous source told E! “But things are not looking good.”

A Chicago area woman whose 18-year-old son was killed in an alleged drunk-driving crash after his high-school prom last weekend wore his cap and gown at his graduation in a tribute to him.

Katherine Jackson, mother of Aaron Dunigan, walked across the stage during the ceremony on Wednesday. Along with Dunigan's father, she received a special plaque with his diploma, awards and a graduation ticket.

"She got a standing innovation, a lot of tears, a great deal of cheers," said Dwayne Evans, principal of the school in the south Chicago suburb of Calumet City. "It was mixed joy, happiness, and a lot of sadness."

Dunigan, a quarterback on the school football team, was one of two people killed in the crash. He and another classmate were passengers in a car driven by a third friend and classmate, according to local media reports.

The three were on their way home from prom when the driver crashed into another car. Dunigan and the driver of the other car were both killed. The other passenger was badly injured and attended graduation in a wheelchair, local media reported.

OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — Hundreds of people marched in Washington state's capital city to protest a police shooting that wounded two unarmed stepbrothers suspected of trying to steal beer from a grocery store.

Olympia Officer Ryan Donald reported he was being assaulted with a skateboard early Thursday before the shooting that left Bryson Chaplin, 21, in serious condition and Andre Thompson, 24, in stable condition. Both were expected to survive.

Protesters rallied at a park Thursday afternoon, then marched about a mile to a building that houses police headquarters and City Hall, holding signs that read "Race is a Factor" and "We Are Grieving." The crowd chanted "Black Lives Matter" and "No Justice, No Peace."

The stepbrothers are black, and the officer is white, but Police Chief Ronnie Roberts said, "There's no indication to me that race was a factor in this case at all."

While those protests were peaceful, a small, separate group scuffled with bar patrons who confronted them late Thursday, police spokeswoman Laura Wohl said.

Some fights ensued and some protesters threw rocks at City Hall. Police responded and deployed flash bangs to disperse the crowd, she said Friday.

The shooting is being investigated by a team of detectives from several agencies. Brad Watkins, chief deputy of the Thurston County Sheriff's Department, said two skateboards were recovered from the shooting scene and an investigation will likely take three to six weeks. The men weren't armed with guns, investigators said.

Donald was among those who responded around 1 a.m. Thursday to a call from a Safeway store, Roberts said. Employees said two men tried to steal beer and then threw the alcohol at workers who confronted the pair.
